DWG DXF Converter Command Line User Guide

The command line allows you convert dwg to dxf, dxf to dwg and version conversion in silent without interface.

Note: Command Line only supported in Professional and Server Version.

How to use? From Windows "Start" menu, click on "Run" or hold on "Win" and press "R" on keyboard to launch Windows Run Prompt: In the blank of the Run Prompt, enter "cmd" command:

Use "cd" (change the current working directory) command of MS-Dos command line to locate to the installation folder of Active DWG DXF converter, for instance, the default installation folder is "C:\Program Files\AutoDWG\Active DWG DXF Converter\":

In command line, enter "dwg2dxf.exe [/F filename] [/O output filename, or folder] [/D Folder] [/S] [/V Output file Version] [/T DWG2DXF: DXF2DWG: Version][ /?]" to call the DWG DXF converter in command line.

/F

Input file name, e.g. C:\test.dwg.

/O

Output file name or folder, depend the parameter of /F and /D. if /F then /O

specify output file name, otherwise folder.

/D

Input folder.

/S

Include subfolder, only available when /D specified.

/V

Specify

output

file

version,

available

parameters:

R2013/R2010/R2007R2004/R2000/R14/R13/R12/R11/R10/R9/CurrentVersion.

The default value is CurrentVersion.

/T

Specify conversion type.

DWG2DXF - Convert dwg to dxf;

DXF2DWG - Convert dxf to dwg;

Version - file version conversion, e.g. R2000->R2004
