CNIC DCC Efforts

? Planning

? Funding for Regional Data Centers ends in FY11. Objective is for CNIC HQ and Regional N6's to consolidate all regional systems and applications to CNIC Service Delivery Points (SDP) in Norfolk and San Diego and eliminate Regional Data Centers.

? Regional consolidation will occur in parallel with system reviews and migration efforts

? Navy EITM Pilot

? CNIC was asked to be an Echelon-II pilot to develop a model for data center consolidation.

? Currently developing strategy and coordinating resources in collaboration with OPNAV N2/N6.

? Objective is to document and record processes and performance to develop and refine an OPNAV N2/N6 EITM Process Model for use across Navy Enterprise.
