Objectives: Students will discuss current events and begin reading about the Southern colonies

4. Begin reading Ch. 4, Sect. 3 together.
5. Hand out homework.

• Finish reading Ch. 4, Sect. 3 for Monday, 10/10
• Complete Ch. 4, Sect. 3 Guided Reading WS for Monday, 10/10

Objectives: Students will analyze their Reading Logs
1. Attendance.
2. Go through and discuss accountability with students.
3. Discuss how they should be analyzing their Reading Logs.
4. Have students analyze their logs and turn into the basket.
5. Begin conferring with students today on their Readers’ Notebooks.
6. IRT.
Homework:
• Read for ½ hour at home
• Continue entries on RL
• Character reflection in RN for Monday
Comm. Arts:
Objectives: Students will continue researching debate topics
1. Attendance.
2. Go to computer lab for student work time.
