This wildly popular sweetened drink originated in Asia. It is a combination of sweetened tea, natural or artificial flavor, and a layer of tapioca pearls that bob around the bottom of the cup. Tapioka looks like bubbles, as they come up with a straw, thus derivation boba. Other names for boba include bubble tea, pearl milk tea, tapioca tea, ball drink, and pearl shake. The drink is usually served cold, with a particularly wide straw sucking up chewy boba along with your drink. Bob's tea is usually available in teashops offering a wide range of menu flavors and preparations. What are the best tea soothing sore throat? ? The tea of the ear covers a wide range of sweet, non-carbonate, soft drinks. Most varieties include: brewed tea or tea made from concentratemilk or nondairy additives to drink creamy sweetened wallpaper balls of Black, jasmine, and green teas usually used as a base. Although it is a staple in some local subsistence diets, its only contribution is to the rapid energy of carbohydrates. The vitamin and mineral content is very low, and the lack of fiber is so noticeable that even if you could consume enough tapioca to get a small nutritional benefit, you will probably become very constipated. Tapioca balls are made from tapioca starch or flour, which is obtained from manioc root, grown mainly in Nigeria and Thailand. Enjoy bob tea for its sweet, exotic taste and chewy tapioca, not because it's good for you. The effects of phenols and polyphenols in the kettle have been extensively studied and have shown promise against cardiovascular disease and obesity. But the amount of sugar you consume drinking enough bob tea to get these benefits wouldn't be worth it. Also, you wouldn't be able to consume enough fruit in the average bob drink to get the benefit of that either. And many teashops use fake fruity flavors or sweet fruit concentrates. You can get artificially sweetened or unsweetened bob tea, although it is only available in some stores and not really caught. In recent years, scandals have been reported concerning chemicals added by some manufacturers to bob tea blends and imported into the United States. There have been reports that DEHP, also known as bis(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate, is sometimes used as a taste of tea. DEHP is a chemical used in plastic softening. It was accompanied by flavorings and blends to improve color and texture instead of more expensive palm oil. Animal studies have shown that DEHP causes reduced fertility and growth development problems. Although allergy to tapioca is rare, intolerable ingredients have been reported, mainly among those with celiac disease or other digestive diseases. The root of manioc is the main source of carbohydrates in some parts of the world, but improper preparation of manioc roots can cause significant health symptoms when swallowed. For example, insufficient cooking, soaking or manioc root or manioc peel fermentation can cause cyanide poisoning, neurological effects and goiters. Some tapioca meal may also contain added sulphites, so bob tea may not be your best friend if you have sulphite intolerance. Bob, Bob's milk tea, bubble tea, pearl milk tea: Call what you do, this sweet drink is more entertaining than nutrients. Drink in moderation when you feel like a treat and if you don't have any of the intolerances mentioned above.
