Bob Cohen is a Senior Account Manager and Loan Officer for Emigrant Mortgage Company, Inc. ("EMC") a wholly owned subsidiary of Emigrant Bank which is a privately owned community bank serving the financial needs of New Yorkers since 1850.

Bob's primary role is to support his accounts in the mortgage broker and banker communities with products and processes designed to meet the real estate financing needs of their customers for both residential and small balance commercial properties. Bob's expertise is in the details. He intimately knows EMC's guidelines and works closely with his accounts to ensure that a transaction is submitted correctly for the greatest chance of success. His biggest joy comes from seeing his clients meet the financing needs of their customers.

Bob is a native Long Islander and a graduate of The University of Colorado. He started his mortgage career in 1986 and arrived at Emigrant in 1992. In 1997 he jumped from the retail department to assisting the company in its launch of the wholesale broker division.....and he hasn't looked back. He is a member of several business and nonbusiness organizations and actively looks to get others involved.
