Students currently in Dual Credit classes: Looking at the above list of classes, if you are in at least one class that is worth 6 or more hours of credit, you do not have to reapply to SAC. You only have to complete the DC checklist. If the only class(es) that you are enrolled in are 4 hours of credit or less, you will need to reapply to SAC using the Apply Texas Handbook.

If your qualifying scores are good for your desired classes for this year, you will not need to retest. You will just need to pick up a DC handbook, complete and turn in pp. 5-8.

TSIA2 test: TSIA2 is a 3-4 hour test with two sections: ELAR and Mathematics. Students not in Dual Credit need to take the TSIA2 if they do not have qualifying scores through the PSAT, SAT or ACT. Students are exempt from TSIA2 if they meet the following qualifying scores:

PSAT: Minimum of 460 on EBRW and 510 on Math sections

SAT: Minimum of 480 on EBRW and 530 on Math sections.

ACT: Composite of 23, minimum of 19 on both English and Math sections.
