The cable television services are provided in patient rooms and waiting areas. (The waiting rooms are not viewed as common areas as under direction of the Chief of Staff.)Brockton VAMC ‐ 940 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA 02301 West Roxbury (WR) VAMC ‐ 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA 02132 Jamaica Plain (JP) VAMC ‐ 150 South Huntington Avenue, Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 There are currently approximately 110 service locations at the JP Division, 249 locations at the WR Division and 257 locations at the Brockton Division. Over the life of the contract the VA can expect from time to time that the number of locations serviced will fluctuate up to 10%. (The current infrastructure is wired cable.) The Contractor shall provide infrastructure for wired cable services to the facilities and at the facility to deliver the signal to points where the VA owned ward/wing distribution system exists. All work and services shall be in accordance with the latest Federal Communication Commission (FCC), guidelines for the wired cable system. The contractor shall maintain the infrastructure for the life of this agreement and any extension thereof. Any new infrastructure and the maintenance of the current infrastructure shall be included in the firm fixed price and shall remain the property of the vendor. The contractor shall abide by VA rules governing conduct of their employees when they are at the VA site. Work in occupied buildings shall be done safely and in accordance with Infection control guidelines.Contractor shall be responsible for delivering materials to the job site, removing debris on a daily basis and keeping the work area safe, neat and clean at all times.Wired Cable service to be provided by the contractor shall include at minimum, or equal, the TV listing in the attached.The contractor representatives shall respond to the VA telephone inquiries during normal business hours. The Company will begin working on service interruptions promptly and in no event later than the next business day after notification of the service problem. ................
