Job Responsibilities
•Identify and target profitable new business opportunities
•Create and foster producer relationships
•Travel within assigned territory to visit producers and promote ACE USA as well as Recreational Marine products and services
•Provide supervision and training for underwriting assistants
•Implements product line underwriting objectives by reviewing, evaluating, selecting and pricing new business
•Initiate and participate in all activities necessary to best serve customer and team needs
•Participate in team projects and perform other duties as required
Desired Qualifications:
•2-5 years Recreational Marine insurance experience;
•Boating knowledge and experience is necessary whereas insurance aspect can be trained
•Strong knowledge of Rec Marine underwriting criteria, forms and rating procedures;
•Strong knowledge of agency management
•College degree preferred
•Valid Driver’s License
•Excellent organizational and communication skills;
•Strong customer service orientation;
•Excellent sales/marketing and negotiating skills;
•Ability to operate and contribute positively in a team-based environment;
•Ability to set work priorities;
•Strong working knowledge of computer use, including but not limited to: WORD, Excel, Internet, Access, etc.
