of options...

? 4 year college ? 2 year college ? Technical programs ? Apprenticeships ? Military academies ? Gap year ? Employment ? Volunteer programs

2 Year Colleges are Cool

? There are 34 CC's in our state ? SAT/ACT tests not required ? Can provide high paying jobs

with less time in school that can also lead into into a BA

? Support yourself while earning

a BA, MA, or higher

4-Year College Application Process

1. Check application deadlines and put in calendar 2. IF Letter of Rec is needed, complete Counselor LOR packet 3 weeks

before 1st application deadline (Naviance and website)

3. Request teacher letters of rec (1-2 teachers ONLY) 4. Start Applications in order of due dates 5. Work on Essay (attend editing sessions) 6. Order official transcripts in Naviance 7. Send ACT/SAT scores if taken ? almost all schools are test optional

8. Check additional requirements for Honors or other special programs
