|Role Summary |

| |

|This role is a key role within the Club’s PR team and the successful candidate will be required to manage the development of press and PR |

|activity to generate positive local, national and international media in support of the Club-wide PR strategy. |

| |

|The PR Manager will have responsibility for helping to organise, co-ordinate, execute and deliver promotional support to activity relating to|

|Club and Commercial aspects of Everton Football Club. |

| |

|Working across departments and with the Senior Liaison and Engagement Manager and Engagement, the PR Manager will ensure that the key |

|messages relating to the Club, the Everton Leadership Team and the portfolio of commercial partners are reported accurately, positively and |

|widely across all media. |

| |

|The PR Manager will be responsible for helping grow awareness of the Club across international territories, telling the Everton story through|

|the media and positioning Everton as an ambitious, successful Club with a growing commercial portfolio. |

| |

|The PR Manager will be tasked with helping to set and achieve department objectives for PR output and activity, using the Club-wide PR |

|strategy to dictate priorities. |

| |

|The PR Manager will work with the Marketing and Insight teams to devise campaigns that will assist to drive Season Ticket/match ticket sales,|

|membership and other commercial objectives. The PR Manager will work across the Club to provide PR services to departments including |

|Commercial, Partnerships, The Academy, Everton Women and People’s Services. |

| |

|The PR Manager will be expected to assist the Media team with any footballing press or media requirements they may have as well as any |

|operations covering community, commercial, Club or footballing activity that may take place on matchdays. |

| |

|Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is attention to detail, an ability to stay calm under pressure and an |

|understanding of social media technologies. |

| |

|Key Responsibilities |

| |

|Working in conjunction with the Senior PR Manager to deliver a public relations plan across allocated commercial partners and other Club |

|departments, including football, that is ultimately measured by positive media exposure and the objectives set down in the Club-wide PR |

|strategy document. |

| |

|Help oversee the writing of press releases and other promotional material for external media and official Club channels. |

| |

|Manage and execute a plan of PR opportunities to secure feature coverage across consumer, trade and sporting media. |

| |

|Manage the media evaluation and administration process for the PR team. |

| |

|Work closely with colleagues to deliver positive and strategic media coverage celebrating success stories from across the business and |

|football operation. |

| |

|Develop and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, trade, national and international media. |

| |

|Ensure that all work is completed in a priority basis, and work meets a high degree of professionalism and quality. |

| |
