New Business: President Lori Troxel advised that we need to take the time leading into our next meeting on January 11, 2018, to think about the Treasurers position and what we will need to address. The bylaws state that the Treasurer will need to work and/or reside no further than 20 miles from an operational office or branch of the Community First Credit Union of Florida. Therefore, the membership will need a new nomination that meets that requirement or consideration of changing our by-laws to open the position to other members. A short discussion ensued with those present indicating with online and mobile banking the need to be closer to the bank may no longer be an issue, as well as the individual taking the position for cash deposits would need to be willing to make the required trip should the need arise. Lori Troxel indicated that we need to have more of our membership present when making this decision and the discussion was tabled for incoming President Michelle Forstrom to add to her January agenda. A Motion to confirm and accept the nominations of Jeff Klugh for Vice President, and Robin Garcia for Secretary was made by Michael Favors, and seconded by Roderick Potter. Motion Carried.President Lori Troxel stated that for the past couple of years we have kept the same training schedule with a few modifications, and asked that everyone take a minute to confirm if they can keep the following dates. Lori indicated it is important to get with incoming President Michelle Forstrom mforstrom@ so that we will have training in place at least for January.
