Use the link for directions and suggestions. This experiments students get to learn about fingerprints and they also get to pretend to be a detective. With parent guidance students will take fingerprints of everyone at home. Use ink pad playfough to make fignerprints. Students will refence back to that to see whose fingerprint they have found. Students will dust for prints and become the tryue detective of the home. Have them use items like glasses, tables, bowls or whatever you allow them too! Have fun with this! Please see the recording sheet for the students to use has they solve the mystery of fingerprints!? ? ? ? ?** WRITING - Students will?write about the community helper Doctor. Students will fill out graphic organizer about what they know about a Doctor. Where they work, what they are, and what they can do. Thye will use this organizer to then write about a doctor and how they help the community. Have your students draw a picture of a doctor helping someone when they are finished.
