Maintain network servers including updates, backups, AD maintenance, new software and upgrades, etc. Assist with database management. Also provide support for general training, phone systems, including desk phones and cell phones, security systems, and conference room videoconference set ups.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Other duties may be assigned.Support and maintain agency’s network infrastructure including network support, server support and maintenance including updates/patches and backupsMaintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair/resolve computer systems, hardware, software and peripherals (PC’s, printers, etc.) for all Semcac locations.Create and maintain user accounts and enforce security of network access and data.Maintain file systems, permissions.Administer software and client applications, including installation, configuration, applying patches/upgrades and ensuring compliance to software license agreements/requirements.Maintain Center’s Office365 portal and apps and securities within it.Provide desktop support including setting up new PC’s, installing software and enabling network connectivity, including troubleshooting all reported issues.Provide new staff orientation and training to employees on the usage of equipment on our network. This includes network access, setup of user accounts and any training of end users, etc.Assist in maintaining video surveillance systems, key fob software.Maintain existing IT equipment inventory as needed, including documenting current systems, serial numbers, issue histories, warranty status and disposing of old equipmentAssist in maintaining THO databaseSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES NoneQUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Associates degree in computer science/information technology with 2 years’ relative experience working knowledge, systems troubleshooting skills and ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.Must be enthusiastic and self-motivated to provide desktop support, and administer IT systems.Good verbal and written communication skills.LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively and respond to questions from managers or employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.TECHNOLOGYEducation and experience with network servers, switches, routers, personal computers, phone systems, fax software, Microsoft Office REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
