Course Description:Introduction to Nutrition 171 is the first level nutrition course for students in the general university population and for those majoring in dietetics and nursing. Emphasis is on “normal” nutrition and is organized around nutrients, their functions, their availability in the American diet, and the amounts of nutrients essential for optimal health. Consideration is given to nutritional topics of current interest and concern.This course is designed to be delivered in Face to Face Format.
