Mrs. Potts’ Classroom Information Sheet
Each day when you come to class, the following will be expected:
1. Come to class in dress code with all needed materials.
2. Copy the Standard, Success Criteria & Homework in your agenda.
3. Listen carefully; following directions is very important.
4. Leave all bags in locker! (book bags, purses, etc.)
5. Only water will be allowed in class. NO snacks unless given permission.
6. Treat your peers and teacher with respect.
Materials:
1. We will be using the McGraw-Hill Textbook. You can access the McGraw-Hill textbook online at . The username is the student ID that you sign on at school with and the password is password1.
2. We rely heavily on notes which will be kept in the composition notebook for class. They should be kept neat and in order.
Grading Policy:
Assessments will count for 60% of your end of the nine weeks grade and Guided Practice and Independent Practice will make up the remaining 40%. It is important to STUDY FOR TESTS!!!
Absence Policy:
Students have 5 days to turn in work from an absence. If you miss an assessment you will make it up the day you return. Exceptions will be made for an extended absence. Students will need to check the missing work crate or my website for missed assignments.
My website will be updated weekly in order to keep you as up to date as possible. Assignments, any announcements, and other resources will be posted on the website in order to keep you informed.
