The total percentage of all duties performed must equal 100 percent.Duty 1General Summary of Duty 1% of Time60Provide technical assistance to the Department’s Construction Manual Wiki.Individual tasks related to the duty.Utilize computer applications and software including, but not limited to Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and MediaWiki.Provide primary assistance with publishing and updating the Department’s Construction Manual Wiki and other reference materials.Utilize a personal computer and/or laptop to perform data entry, create charts & graphs, and develop reports.Utilize proper technical writing procedures to write information that will be included in Department manuals and instructions.Develop a familiarity with html coding. Prepare, establish, and maintain manual and electronic files.Assist in designing and/or creating training videos to be utilized by personnel working on e-construction projects.Assist in scheduling meetings and training sessions. Collect and organize feedback from trainings.Monitor and track industry trends, and report to supervisor. Duty 2General Summary of Duty 2% of Time20Provide prevailing wage and labor compliance software (LCP Tracker) assistance within the Construction Contracts UnitIndividual tasks related to the duty.Utilize MDOT prevailing wage and labor compliance software (LCP Tracker).Provide back-up assistance with LCPTracker software to support the Construction Contracts Unit when necessary.Utilize a personal computer and/or laptop to perform data entry, create charts & graphs, and develop reports.Prepare, establish, and maintain manual and electronic files.Assist in designing and/or creating training videos to be utilized by personnel working on e-construction projects.Assist in scheduling meetings and training sessions. Current enrollment in degree of Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar field preferred.EXPERIENCE:No specific type or amount is required.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Knowledge of general office practices, protocols, and procedures. Ability to communicate effectively. Excellent computer skills using various software packages such as: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MediaWiki.
