FCF is partnering with over a dozen churches in Frederick County in an exciting mission opportunity this Christmas season! Operation Christmas Child is a worldwide ministry that delivers millions of shoeboxes filled with gifts to needy children all over the globe.

This year OCC has given us permission to bring this awesome outreach program to help kids right here in Frederick.

For the next 4 Sundays – November 7th -28th – we will be collecting items to fill shoeboxes that will be given out at the armory in downtown Frederick. The student ministries here at FCF will play a vital role in filling the shoeboxes in early December as part of a classroom lesson or missions project. What a wonderful way to teach our children about opening their hearts in service and sharing the love of Christ at this special time of year.

So, how can you and your family participate in this awesome program?

1) Pray for generosity in terms of items to be donated and pray for the children who need to be blessed through this ministry

2) Give from your heart as the Lord leads you – a list of age and gender appropriate items are attached on the next page

3) Receive the blessing of God as you give of yourselves and in doing so teach our children about the incredible love of Christ!

If you have any questions about the program, please contact Nina Catron – ninac@
