Summer’s here! All RMS students are expected to read this summer, along with the other fun and relaxing things you do. You don’t have to read what’s on this list -- any kind of reading and listening will help keep reading skills sharp. Read for fun!

Parents, please encourage your children, remind your children, and model for your children. Take them to the library, discuss books, and don’t forget the power of reading aloud—at any grade. Your example and encouragement can help develop a true love of reading, a precious gift for your children.
