|FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | |Financial Statement Services, Inc., to Receive |

|  | |Trane Energy Efficiency Leader Award |

|Reporter Contact: | |Upgrades expected to save nearly $72,000 annually |

|Joan Schimml | |Financial Statement Services, Inc. (FSSI) is a full-service print and mail leader specializing in the design, production |

|+1.651.260.4983 | |and delivery of high-impact statements, letters, notices and other time-critical customer communications. |

|joan.schimml@ | |With the help of Trane, FSSI recently completed energy conservation measures (ECMs) expected to save nearly $72,000 a year|

|  | |at its 168,000 square-foot corporate headquarters. |

| | |Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort systems and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, worked closely with FSSI to help|

|Additional Information: | |the company implement ECMs that would significantly reduce operating costs while reflecting FSSI's strong corporate |

|  | |commitment to sustainability. FSSI anticipates that the energy conservation measures, completed in 2011, will have less |

|News Release | |than a one-year payback.  |

|  | |Additional savings include a one-time rebate from Southern California Edison, one of the nation’s largest utilities, for |

|FSSI Fact Sheet | |nearly $53,000. Improvements were completed to increase energy and operational efficiency in a competitive industry, |

| | |reduce operating costs and maximize system reliability to maintain customer confidence. The upgrades also improved |

|    | |employee comfort and productivity. |

|Video: | |FSSI also is participating in a pilot test of a comprehensive intelligent building services program to ensure that |

|Efficiency Leader Award for the company's commitment | |High Performance Buildings Journey |

|to sustainability and energy efficiency. | |While the financial benefits of the upgrades implemented by FSSI are considerable, perhaps the most significant benefit to|

|  | |the company is an enhanced ability to confidently meet client service-level agreements while reflecting the company's |

| | |corporate commitment to environmental stewardship. |

|Videos and photos can be used on websites; however, | |The improvements represent a major step in transforming the FSSI headquarters facility into a high performance building |

|please cite ‘Courtesy of Trane’ | |that reflects the organization’s business mission. High performance buildings take a whole building approach to |

| | |performance, while creating spaces that are reliable, safe, healthy, comfortable and efficient. |

|  | |High performance buildings meet specific standards for energy and water consumption, system reliability and uptime, |

|[pic] | |environmental compliance and occupant comfort. All standards are set to deliver established outcomes that help building |

|[pic] | |owners and occupants achieve their business missions. |

| | |Energy Conservation Measures |

|   | |Upgrades included replacing lighting throughout the building with high-efficiency fixtures. This significantly reduced |

|visit: hpb. | |In one production area, for example, overall lighting was increased 38 percent, while energy demand fell 40 percent. |

|  | |The company began participating in California’s automatic demand response program, which includes resetting production |

| | |room setpoints, reducing fan speeds and automatically unloading chilled water systems to reduce energy use. The demand |

| | |program helps California maintain a reliable electricity supply while reducing the possibility of rotating power outages |

| | |and the need to build new power plants. |

| | |FSSI also implemented high-occupancy sensors in its warehouse that are activated only when forklifts are operating on a |

| | |particular hallway. Other upgrades included enhancing control optimization on an existing high efficiency chilled water |

| | |system to increase energy and operational efficiency. |

| | |Intelligent Building Services |

| | |The upgrades at FSSI include an evaluation of the potential benefits of intelligent building services. Using advanced |

| | |technology and analytics, Trane Intelligent Services will continuously collect, interpret and act upon data compiled from |

| | |building systems and other sources. If operating anomalies are detected, Trane automatically responds or recommends steps |

| | |the company can take to keep the building operating efficiently and within the predetermined performance parameters. |

| | |Experts from Trane are available to discuss how Trane Intelligent Services and the high performance buildings approach can|

| | |help owners reduce operating costs, increase profitability and grow their businesses. |
