HLYH 2020 Covid PolicyThis policy as set forward is subject to change at any time and is not meant to be all-inclusive. HLYH will follow the most current state and county guidelines as they are presented and as time progresses We ask that the following guidelines be followed first and foremost to keep everyone as safe as possible, before entering the rink please ask these questions: Is my temperature 100.0 F or higher? Has my temperature been 100.0 F or higher in the past 24 hours? Do I have any symptoms of illness? (coughing, headache, sneezing, sore throat, runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest or nasal congestion, earache, swollen glands, loss of taste or smell, night sweats, muscle or body aches).Have I, or has someone I live with, been asked in the last 14 days to remain in quarantine for COVID-19 testing, diagnosis, or treatment?If you answer YES to any of the above, please stay home and seek healthcare provider guidance if symptoms worsen or you need treatment.The following guidelines shall be implemented until further notice:Social distancing of 6’ shall be implemented.Use of masksSpectators: Face masks are to be worn in the building. Once seated in the stands out by the rink and the 6 ft. distance between families maintained, masks can be removed. Players: shall wear masks to enter and exit the building and while in the lobby. However, masks are not required while on ice.Spectators are welcome and can be seated in the rink area following the six foot distance guideline. The upstairs will be reserved for elderly or wheel chair bound individuals. Masks and social distancing will be expected in the upstairs viewing area.Locker room use shall be limited as follows:Players shall maintain proper social distancing while in the locker rooms as well as maintaining mask usage. Showers are off limits until further notice. All players in leagues 12 and under should show up in full gear with the exception of skates which may be put on at the rink, either in the lobby or in a locker room.Older players should show up no more than 20 minutes before practice or event and shall not linger in the locker roomAs stated above, there shall be no lingering in the locker rooms at any age groupLocker rooms are subject to further evaluation and may be closed at any time.Entry to events will only be allowed 20 minutes prior to the scheduled event and all members and attendees are to exit the building no more than 10 minutes after the closing of the eventNo shared water bottles shall be allowed, each individual shall bring their own water bottle from home and shall not share it with any other player. The rink water fountain may shut off pending further reviewWhile it is not mandatory, HLYH is encouraging parents to drop off their child before practice and come back at the end of practice. This is an attempt to limit the number of overall people at the rink at any one time. If a parent needs to be at the rink for their child please limit it to one parent at a time.Dryland training in the building will not be allowed. ................
