Crane Operator Training and Testing for NCCCO Certification Accredited Crane Operator Testing and Certification per OSHA'S Subpart CC Cranes & Derricks in Construction 1926.1400

Why should I attend?

? OSHA regulations require most crane operators to be certified.

? Mobile cranes are the most dangerous and have the highest accident potential of all industrial and construction equipment.

? 20% (1 out of 5) of all construction fatalities are crane related.

? Some of the largest lawsuits are a result of crane accidents, which are most often the fault of an untrained operator.

? More often in crane accident litigation, the employer is found negligent in not determining an operator's qualifications and providing the necessary training to ensure operator competency as required in Federal, State, and Industry Crane Safety Standards.

Certification can be in:

Swing Cab

These types of mobile hydraulic telescoping cranes are characterized by the operator moving with the boom.

Fixed Cab

A mobile hydraulic telescoping crane usually on a truck bed/boom truck where the operator is at a separate station and does not move with the boom.

Articulated Knuckle Boom Crane (ABC)

This crane is typically mounted on a truck bed with a knuckle boom folding crane. It has a hook for lifting.

Articulated Boom Loader ? Forks (ABL)

This crane is a non-folding crane that is used to lift material like drywall, sheet goods or palletized

materials.
