Group Presentations
Students will be split into five groups. Each group will be assigned a faction. Each group will present their faction to the class. Presentations must be between 15-20 minutes long. Each member of the group must speak for at least 3-5 minutes.
Presentations must include the following:
1. A description of the faction
2. The factions values and brief description of their manifesto
3. Symbols associated with each faction as well as their meaning or representation (i.e.-colors, clothing, signs)
4. A description of their location and inhabitants (if applicable)
5. A description of their initiation process (if applicable)
6. A description of what they contribute to the community (i.e. what function or role do they play in society: governmental, food sources, research)
A visual aid is required for the group presentations. This can be anything from a powerpoint, collage of pictures, poster boards, etc. The information on visual aids is limited to an outline; in other words, no full sentences. The majority of each presentation should be memorized.
Group members will be evaluated individually. Members will fill out a self-evaluation and evaluate the other members of their group.
