Jim Flannery

Recently, Team One Credit Union lost a key member of its Board of Directors, when Jim Flannery passed away. Mr. Flannery was a member of Team One Credit Union for over 40 years and had served on the Board since 2000. He was a United States Navy Officer and Vietnam Veteran and spent 25 years as a Michigan State Police Trooper. Jim retired from both the State Police and the Navy in April of 1991. Afterwards, Jim worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in Tuscola County for 10 years. He actively participated in multiple organizations, and enjoyed being a member of Knights of Columbus Council 12423, American Legion Post 18, local VFW, PLAV Post #162, and the Ancient Order of Hibernians. Jim will be deeply missed by his wife of over 40 years, 3 children, 15 grandchildren and the Team One family.

An Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) is like an ATM but even better because it can perform many more transactions plus provide live assistance if requested. Use it to view transactions on your account, cash checks, transfer funds, make deposits and even pay your loan. Simply touch the screen to start your transaction or press the help button to speak to a Live Support Representative, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm.

Remember, you can use the ITM just like a drive up teller window during Live Support hours by simply touching the screen and pressing "HELP" to speak to a Team One Representative.

*You do not need an ATM or Debit Card during Live Support to process your transactions; however, you will need a valid driver's license or state issued ID.

Scholarship Applications for High School Seniors Now Available

As part of our ongoing commitment to education, Team One is proud to provide 18 scholarships to local high school seniors. If you are a high school senior, we encourage you to apply for a Team One Scholarship. In addition to scholarships to colleges and universities, Team One has committed three of its scholarships to students that are interested in pursuing a career in the high demand field of skilled trades.

To be eligible to apply for all Team One scholarships, applicants need to be or need to become a Member of the credit union. If your student isn't a Team One Member yet, tell them that when they join, they will be eligible to apply for Team One scholarships and our other great products and services including the Sallie Mae? If you have an IRA, the fair market value of your IRA is being furnished to the IRS.

Team One is currently accepting nominations for candidacy on our volunteer Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee seeks members in good standing to the three positions up for election for the Board of Directors.
