Current Events
Reading about current events and understanding how they relate to the material we are learning is very important to your overall understanding of the content. I want you to understand that the things we do in class are not just random things, but have real world applications. Current events are worth 10 points. Please be sure to follow the format below. If you are missing sections or if sections are incomplete you will not get full credit.
1st – Attach the article and UNDERLINE OR HILIGHT at LEAST 4 examples that relate to our themes we have discussed in class. If you can’t find 4, it’s not a good article. The article should be LESS THAN 6 months old.
2nd – Explain HOW EACH of the 4 things you identified relates to one of our themes (scarcity, incentives, interdependence, gain from trade)
3rd – Write a short paragraph about your feelings about the article. Do you agree? Disagree? If it’s just reporting facts, what do you think will happen next? Was it a good decision? Why? Why not?
