Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City International Airport, NJ (both DC and AC are offsite locations at home office until (COVID restrictions lifted)POSITION DESCRIPTIONWork as part of an integrated Contractor Support Team as a Senior Grants Acquisition Analyst supporting the FAA NextGen’s Grants Management Branch. This position provides support to award, administer and manage Grants working with FAA program offices, and specifically FAA’s NextGen initiative.Candidates for this position must possess experience in a senior role supporting the Federal Government to award Grants, including developing Statements of Work (SOWs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and business case justifications. Candidates will be expected to assist FAA customers to conduct Market Surveys, develop SOWs, prepare IGCEs, create evaluation plans and instructions, develop Requests for Proposal (FAA Screening Information Request), develop FAA oversight review packages (e.g., Chief Financial Officer, Acquisition Strategy Review Board, etc.), develop responses to offeror questions, facilitate proposal evaluations and support other pre-award acquisition activities as required. Candidates will be expected to develop Executive presentations and memorandums, including decision justifications, articulating benefits, developing Government oversight packages (e.g., business case justification), and responding to offeror questions. Candidates will also support Grant post-award administration and management, including modifications, payments, deliverables tracking, funding analysis, and Grants reporting requirements.Candidates must possess excellent communications and organization skills to work collaboratively with fellow Team members and customers, including Contracting Officers, CORs, and Program Office representatives.Candidates must also demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness in providing both pre-award and post-award Grants support services to Government customer organizations.Candidates for this position must possess capability in MS Word, MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, and MS Sharepoint.POSITION REQUIREMENTSA 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management is required.Minimum?15 years of relevant experience?in acquisition with a focus on pre and post-award of Grants.Candidates must possess exceptional customer service, writing and organizational skills.Prior FAA work experience is desired but not required. ................
