Des Moines Public Schools is pleased to announce 23 free meals sites will be open across the city this summer, with the possibility of adding additional locations as staffing allows. Please check frequently for updates.
DMPS is participating in the USDA Summer Food Service Program, which will allow for a safe and streamlined service of nutritious meals during the 2022 summer break. Free meals will be provided to all children 18 years or younger regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, or
disability.
Please note: Meals will not be available July 4. Meals will also not be available July 4-8 at the following locations: Carver Elementary, Hiatt Middle School, Moore Elementary, and Studebaker Elementary.
Grab-n-Go Meals: June 6 ? June 30, 2022; Monday ? Friday, 11:00 a.m. ? 1:00 p.m.

For summer 2021, WDMCS will offer meals two ways. Families can pick up three-day meal kits twice a week or pick up single ready-to-eat meals each day. Meals are free to anyone 18 and younger, no registration required.

Valley High School, 3650 Woodland Ave., West Des Moines Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to noon, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Crestview School of Inquiry, 8355 Franklin Ave., Clive Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11-11:30 a.m.
Stilwell Junior High School, 1601 Vine St., West Des Moines Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11 a.m. to noon
Hillside Elementary School, 713 Eighth St., West Des Moines Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Chapel Ridge Apartment Complex, 210 41st St., West Des Moines Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:45-11 a.m.
