Task 2 – Create a model of a machine used during WW2 (1 Dojo Point)The website below shows you some of the machines used during the war: task is to build a model of one of the machines used during World War Two. You can build it out of any materials you have at home. This may include cardboard boxes, Lego, paper, K-Nex, etc. You can be as imaginative and creative as you like. Once you have built it, you can upload a photo to HWB.Task 3 - Create a dance move and upload it to HWB (1 Dojo Point)To celebrate VE Day, many people went dancing to mark the end of the war. Can you research the different types of dances that took place during the 1940’s and practise some of the moves? Once you are familiar with the dances, you can have a go with someone in your house. If you’re feeling brave, you can upload your own dance move to HWB. Task 2 – ICT: Create a poster using Jit (1 Dojo Point)It is 75 years since VE Day. Your task is to create a poster telling people to have a stay at home VE Day party. Use ‘mix’ on Jit. You can either draw a picture in the picture box or download an image and use that. In the text box, tell people about the day, and how they could celebrate. Use the template below. Task 3 – ICT/Outdoors (1 Dojo Point)Use the Internet to research what games were popular with children in the 1940s. Choose one of these games and try and play it with your brothers/sisters or parents/carers.
