Thank you to all!

It is hard to believe that another month has gone by. The children have been very active learners this past month and many of them have created good quality work. The next month will be a busy one with many projects and activities to prepare for the upcoming holidays.

Ms. Standish-Warpus will be with us until December 13th. She will support all of our students in the classroom and instruct them until this time.

Please encourage your child to continue to work on Reader’s Club at home; each child should be close to 15/20 books before our next holiday break. If they are reading books from home remember they may write a book report for them. We have plenty of report forms so please let us know if you need some at home.

As always, your calendar for the month will be attached to this letter. There are many different events happening throughout the month.

Many of our activities will be based on traditions and how different holidays are celebrated. We would like to take this time to invite anyone in your family that has a special holiday tradition to come in and share it with the class, we would love to have you join us. Please feel free to contact us about this at any time.

Here are the topics that will be covered within the next month in each subject area:

Cursive: Continue to introduce the letters. Practice, practice, practice

Spelling: no spelling this month

• Whole Group reading will include tradition stories, Who Stole the Twelve Days of Christmas, informational text and more holiday stories.
