Hi Washington Families,Thank you for all your flexibility and support with all the Covid Precautionary Measures and Procedures. If your student is quarantined and unable to attend in-person school,?virtual learning will be the mode of instructional delivery during this?quarantine?period. We’ve had a few classes that have had to transition to virtual learning while they are/were quarantined. As soon as I am notified that a specific class needs to move to virtual learning, I send out the notification on Skyward or have your student’s teacher post on the appropriate virtual learning platform (Seesaw or Canvas). Additionally, a text message is sent out to direct guardians to check their email. It is important for students to access their Seesaw (K-Grade 4) or Canvas (5th-6th Grade) Account daily to retrieve and complete learning activities and assignments being prepared by their teacher. The classroom teacher will be communicating with students regularly throughout this quarantine period. Families are encouraged to reach out to the teacher with any academic related questions. School work provided during the quarantine period is counted toward your student’s attendance. Other reminders:-Reinforcement Days (learn from home) December 7th -No School on December 24th-January 1st Thank you for all you that you do for Washington School! Ms. Southworth Food Service Updates!!!!!!Families participating in virtual learning OR those who have students out on quarantine know they are eligible and encouraged to pick up meals. Meal pick up is every Monday and Wednesday here at the high school. We want to ensure that students not receiving meals in school are aware they have the option to pick up them up. WILL be available for pick up next Monday December 7th. Melanie Hanneman, RDN Co-Food Service DirectorMarshfield School District 715-387-8464 ext 4288 ................
