Aerosolized Flolan® should NEVER be used in patients with severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction, (often presenting as pulmonary edema). Avoid aerosolized Flolan® during active pulmonary haemorrhage. Bleeding. is a potential adverse effect although it has not been reported with the dose range of 5 to 50 ng/kg/minute. ................
