Lesson 6

Lesson 6

Title: "Grace - Part 1"

The Greek word for grace is “charis,” which means, unmerited favor. It is best defined this way: Grace is the gift of God. A wage is something we earn; a gift is something we do not earn.

In our first study of Grace we are going to cover how grace is accessed, how we moved from the law to grace, who the Justifier of many is, how grace is applied, and finally how our conscience has been perfected, by moving from condemnation to justification unto life eternal.

Ephesians 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

We have just covered the gift of the Holy Ghost in the last couple of studies, and now I want to turn your attention to another precious gift that Jesus gave to mankind upon His ascension into Heaven. The gift of Grace. The undeserving favor of God.
