How to become a Constable Entity - Delaware State Police

How to become a Constable Entity:

Submit a letter via email to wendy.meyers@ addressing the Constable Board of Examiners requesting that your entity be granted constable positions. This letter should give justification as to why your entity should be granted the positions. In addition, submit a completed Constable Entity Information Form which can be found on our website: Your request will be presented to the Constable Board of Examiners at the next scheduled quarterly meeting for consideration. A representative from your entity should be prepared to attend the meeting in the event that the Board of Examiners require more detailed information regarding the request.

How to become a Constable:

**You must be sponsored by a licensed entity in order to apply to be a constable. The entity must send an intent to hire letter, your application and your experience to DSP-Professional Licensing to be considered for a constable commission. **Please note that State of Delaware Constables are NOT the same as the DSPProfessional Licensed Constables**
