Delta Air Lines Preferred Seating in Travelport Smartpoint

Did you know that you now have the ability to sell Delta's Preferred Seats within Travelport Smartpoint?

Preferred Seating is offered on Delta and Delta Connection® operated flights. Preferred Seats may include desirable window, aisle or exit row seats and, subject to availability, may be purchased as of 45 days prior to a flight’s departure date through its check-in window.

The agency workflow to process a paid Preferred Seat is the same workflow that is used when selling Delta Comfort+™ in markets where it is sold as an ancillary seat product. View Delta Comfort+ for market information.

There are no changes for SkyMiles Medallion members or other eligible customers who currently enjoy complimentary access to Preferred Seating. Basic Economy (E) fares are not eligible for paid or complimentary Preferred Seats, regardless of Medallion or other elite status.

Air Canada new routes June 1, 2017 Air Canada will launch service between Toronto-Berlin (four times weekly) and Vancouver-Nagoya (three times weekly, increasing to four times weekly in August and September 2017).

On June 8, 2017, Vancouver-Taipei starts with daily service, and on June 9, 2017, Montreal-Marseille with three times weekly service.

On June 26, 2017 the airline will introduce Montreal-Algiers flights (four times weekly). And on July 1, Air Canada will add Toronto-Mumbai (three times weekly).

Both the Montreal-Algiers and the Vancouver-Taipei routes are subject to government approvals.

|Travel to Cuba is available for authorized travelers only. The Cuban Assets Control Regulations (CACR) administered by the Office of Foreign |

|Assets Control of the U.S. Department of Treasury (OFAC) authorizes only certain categories of travelers for travel to Cuba. Tourism is not |

|permitted. All passengers traveling on United to or from Cuba must certify their eligibility under one of the authorized categories. Agencies |

|booking travel for customers must also ensure the necessary traveler certification is included in the PNR. Documentation using SSR RFTV is |

|required for each customer, and a different reason code for each customer is permitted if appropriate. |

Greater Toronto Airways , will start offering daily flights between Toronto and Niagara Falls.

Greater Toronto Airways has announced plans to operate daily scheduled flights from Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport to the Niagara District Airport in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Flights will be operated on eight-seater planes and launched on Sept. 15.

The flight is only 12 minutes long, and it will cater to morning commuters with an 8:30 a.m. departure time from Niagara and a 4:30 p.m. return flight from Toronto. The company also flies from Toronto to Collingwood and Muskoka, and offers charters and sightseeing services in several locations in Canada and the U.S.

The new flight will be priced from $85 one way, and from $159 for return.

Travellers, airlines get a break with Canada’s new Nov. 9 passport, eTA deadline

OTTAWA — The federal government is extending its leniency period for the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) requirement until Nov. 9. Starting Nov. 10 Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, will need a valid Canadian passport to board their flight to Canada.

Effective through February 2017, a new temporary entrance for the Eurostar check-in at Brussels Midi station will be located at the end of the ‘Galerie du Midi / Zuidgallerij’ within the station, next to the Proximus Center.

How do I find the connections or “via” cities in a rail itinerary? Use the European Rail Planner Tool!

When searching for fares and schedules on , you may get a response that the journey must be broken up into multiple single journeys with a suggested connecting city. When a connecting city isn’t offered, you may check schedules by using the European Rail Planner Tool. Let’s take Paris to Warsaw for example. By using the European Rail Planner Tool, you are able to choose the best route for your clients and apply that to Rail Europe’s agent site. All you need are the city pair(s), date(s), and time(s). In this case I see that the best itinerary is out of Paris Gare de Lyon via Zurich and Vienna to Warsaw’s central station. Save this link to your “Favorites” today!
