This intensive theme is an introduction to the many different career options that are available in the different medical fields in Manitoba. Students will have an opportunity to see aspects of world that are offered mysterious or invisible to them and get a sense of the education, skills, and aptitudes necessary in many of these jobs and careers. Intensive Theme Description:

In this week we will learn about the many different types of jobs available in Manitoba. From the doctors to MRI technicians, from Paramedics to Chiropractic's, students will have an opportunity to see what these jobs look like, and analyze whether they are interested in learning more. Students will consider the different skills and knowledge requirements related to many different career opportunities. Our hope that students will be able to identify areas of interest, but also, equally important, areas for which they have no interest!

Tour and session with Massage Therapy College of Manitoba

Tour and session with an athletic therapist

Students who wish to participate in this intensive theme should:

Come prepared to participate in discussions, hands on activities and lectures

Be prepared to analyze what you see, and consider yourself in each context
