➢ Secretary’s report was tabled until the next meeting.

Treasurer’s Report

➢ Motion was made to pass the Treasurer’s Report.

o Motion by Phil, all in favor and passed.

Vice President of Pioneer Valley Report

➢ There have been complaints regarding the conduct of a couple of coaches

o Anthony Maloni for U9 girls and Pete Sabillia for U9 boys

➢ This will need be investigated

o Action assigned to: Ed

In Town – Vice President’s Report

➢ In Town U14 team

o Currently there are only 20 players registered to play

o There are two coaches available to coach

o Suggestion to either make two teams or divvy up players every week

o Email and/or call the players to solidify interest

▪ Ed will assist Cindy with this effort

o Jamboree will be the 2nd and 3rd of October

▪ Suzette will need to be contacted for pictures

▪ Games to be held at School Street

▪ Master schedule to be provided to Cindy for coordination of games in case there is a need for overflow

Intro Director

➢ There are 7 teams without equipment

Director of Referees

➢ Reinforced the importance of feedback and encouraged Board provide their observations to Ed.

➢ The only complaint thus far is to have refs blow the whistle louder.

Communications Director

➢ Send Jen a list of the In Town and Pioneer Valley coaches email.

o Action assigned to: Cindy and Bill

Director of Field Operations

➢ There is a chemical on the field that has made sneakers/cleats orange.

Other Business

➢ Sani cans at Clark field

➢ G license will be held on Sunday, September 26th

➢ Soccer appreciation party will be Saturday, November 20th at the Dante Club

➢ Elections in November

o The following positions will be available during the next elections:

▪ Vice President of ASA (currently held by Phil Leclair)

▪ Treasurer (currently held by Denise Kresock)

▪ Vice President of PV (currently held by Bill Scherpa)

▪ Pioneer Valley Boys Director (currently held by Tom Cronin)

▪ Director of Referees (currently held by Ed Abraham)

▪ Director of Field Operations (currently held by Tim Humiston)

▪ In Town Girls Coordinator (currently OPEN)

▪ Concessions Coordinator (currently OPEN)

▪ Sponsorship Coordinator (currently OPEN)

o Any Board member whose position is not up for re-election and will not be returning will need to contact Brian at the October Board meeting.

➢ Pioneer Valley Uniforms

o Any suggestions/ideas about new uniforms need to be presented before year end to ensure a seamless order and transition.

➢ Discussion about reinvesting into the ASA program

o Ideas discussed were to set up lighting at Robinson field, developing artificial fields at Robinson, and/or developing a field expansion project.

➢ Discount for ASA

o Discussion to implement a discount program where the children of board members and certified Pioneer Valley coaches could either play for free or ½ price

o The cost to play should be identified

o This will be an agenda item for next month’s agenda
