2019-2020 SCHOOL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Classes begin on Monday, August 12, 2019.

All students must be fully registered, including payment of annual school registration fees, prior to the start of the school year in order to attend classes.

Parents will receive notice of their child's school bus route and pick-up time prior to the start of the school year.

What if I qualify for the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program?

Qualifications and other details regarding the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program will

be sent to all families in late July. Families eligible for this Federal program are not able to register online and must come to their home high school during in-person registration

on one of the designated dates in order to complete the registration process. (dates listed on back)

HOW TO COMPLETE THE SCHOOL REGISTRATION PROCESS

ONLINE

Between July 1 ? August 4, 2019, school registration can be accomplished online using your Infinite Campus Parent Portal account, selecting More on the left-hand side, and completing these four steps: 1. Review and update Address

Information. If you have a new home address, you must contact the student services office at your child's home high school to update your child's residency. 2. Review and update Family Information. 3. For each child, review and update Demographics. If you have more than one child enrolled in District 211, you will need to select each child one at a time. 4. Select the Registration link on the right side of the More screen. The system will guide you through the registration process, including payment of fees using a credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa, or Discover). You can find a guided tutorial of the online school registration process on the

District 211 website at .

No Internet access? Want to pay fees with cash or check?

Prefer to register in-person? You can complete school registration during in-person registration at your child's

home high school.

In-person registration dates for each District 211 high school are displayed

on the back of this sheet.

Student iPads

Parents are encouraged to enroll in the optional iPad Protection Plan to help defray costs

associated with device repair/replacement. More details about the optional plan are available on the District 211 website at

Freshmen and other new students who have completed school registration will receive their school-assigned iPad on the first day of school.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Access to the online school registration system is not available to parents who have not satisfied enrollment requirements or other requirements.

? All freshmen and transfer students must provide an original birth certificate, proof of residency, a current physical examination form with documentation of up-to-date immunizations, and a completed dental examination form.

? All seniors must provide proof of an up-to-date meningococcal vaccination.
