(Feb. 2, 2016) – Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage will host a Do-It-Yourself Wedding Class in its newest event space, the Andrew Jackson Center Auditorium, on Saturday, Feb. 6. Class participants will create elegant or rustic-style centerpieces and vintage-style table runners and learn about place setting possibilities and different décor items to create multiple tablescapes.The class will be led by Emily Piepenbrink, The Hermitage’s in-house wedding and event planner. Light hors d’oeuvres, soft drinks and wine will be provided, and participants will take home their projects.Class time is from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $45, and tickets can be purchased on The Hermitage’s website at Hermitage’s Wedding VenuesThe Hermitage has four wedding venues located on 1,120 private acres. They include the Cabin by the Spring, The Hermitage Church, Tulip Grove Mansion, and The Hermitage Gardens and Grounds. The presidential home was the 2014 winner of Perfect Wedding Guide’s Diamond Award, Best Wedding Venue, and a 2015 and 2016 winner of Wedding Wire’s Couples’ Choice Award.
