[Pages:6]Here are synonyms for 23 overused words. There are 16 synonyms for each word, except, "said," which has 36 synonyms. The synonyms are alphabetical (except "said," which is first for easy reference) and are presented in 3 formats:

The 2-page List Print these 2 pages double sided and students can put the page in their binders or writing folders as a quick reference.

The Little Book of Synonyms Print each of these 6 pages to make little books for your students. Cutting guide lines show you exactly where to cut so that the pages will be even.

Synonym Mini-Posters Use these colorful posters around the classroom or on a bulletin board. You could also have a "Synonym of the Week," and use the posters one at a time.

These resources area great way to help students improve their writing and their vocabularies.
