2.0

Fixed Issues

2.1

Intel? Ethernet 800 Series

2.1.1

General

? If single VLAN traffic is active on a PF interface and a CORER or GLOBR reset is triggered manually, PF traffic will resume after the reset whereas VLAN traffic may not resume as expected. For a workaround, issue the ethtool command: "ethtool -K PF_devname rx-vlan-filter off" followed by

"ethtool -K PF_devname rx-vlan-filter on" and VLAN traffic will resume.

2.1.2

Linux Driver

? The driver allows multiple virtual functions to have the same MAC address. This needs VF spook checking to be disabled.

? There is an improvement in latency for 2K and 4K-size packets for TCP traffic.

? The driver accurately reports the AUI-C2C PHY type as KR ethtool link mode.

? Enabling switchdev on any port may break reporting random MAC address on the Physical Function (PF) on all ports.

? When changing the RSS queue value in VM while Double VLAN is configured, rx_vlano [rx-vlanoffload] might stop incrementing correctly.

2.1.3

Windows Driver

? Not all OID error is aggregated to OID_GEN_RCV_ERROR.

? When a SR-IOV enabled Virtual Switch is assigned to 8 VMs and bi-directional traffic is ran continuously, it is possible that SR-IOV degradation might occur.

2.1.4

Linux RDMA Driver

? Loading of Linux RDMA Driver may fail on RHEL8.3.

2.1.5

NVM Update Tool

? Incorrect NVM version is displayed after execution of Inventory switch via NVM Update Tool.

2.1.6

NVM

2.1.6.1

Firmware

? When inverted topology is used which is not a common scenario, link is prevented from going up on all ports.

? The NVM version was incorrectly detected in iLO management log (IML) after PLDM FW Update
