Of these incidents, over a quarter (29 percent) resulted in financial losses and emotional distress, and more than a third (35 percent) saw someone able to gain access to personal devices without permission.This rises to 39 percent among those aged between 25 and 34, despite younger internet users often being expected to have higher levels of technological literacy. A-PDF Watermark is a tool designed for watermarking PDF documents. The sole purpose of this program is to add watermarks to PDF documents, both text and image. PDF Watermark Creator is also a program designed exclusively for adding watermarks to PDF documents -- however, it supports only text watermarks. While A-PDF Watermark requires a purchase, PDF Watermark Creator offers a freeware version, making it one of the few free watermarking programs. If your scanner saves scanned images in an image document format instead of a PDF or other document format, you can also create watermarks using layer-based image editing software. With the Alt key pressed, select a part of the image that doesn't include the watermark, and then depress the key. The area you select should have similar colors and textures as the part of the photo that the watermark is covering. Brush over the watermark area to replace it with the background you sampled. You might need to keep resampling an area of the page to get it just right, and you can adjust the brush size from the menu at the top of Photoshop. This method may take some time and practice if you aren't familiar with Photoshop or similar tools. There are several online tools that make it easy to remove a watermark from your photos. If you're looking for an online tool, check out InPaint. Removing a watermark in InPaint is similar to using the Clone Stamp tool. Select the watermark, and the app does the cloning work. Some changes cannot be undone, so make sure you want to remove them before proceeding. When you next save the document, this information is removed. Don't worry about Microsoft having access to personal information in the documents on your computer.
