Select the phase you want to play and choose the game and have fun! can read any of the books - fiction or non- fiction. to think about:Fiction:Can you retell the story to the adults in your own words?What was your favourite part and why?What could have been an alternative ending to the story?Can you draw the beginning, middle and ending of the story?Non-fiction-Can you remember some of the facts?What was your favourite fact and why?Can you find any other facts out using the computer?English:This week we would like you to focus on spelling the days of the week, but for each day tell us something about it.E.g. what you did on that day? How you felt on that day and why? What the weather was like? What you ate on each day? etc.For example: On Monday I felt happy and ate my favourite pudding ice cream!On Tuesday I was excited because I played with my dad making dens.On Wednesday it rained, and I stayed indoors playing on my computer.On Thursday I ate my favourite meal pizza and chips!On Friday I walked my dog and saw a balloon floating in the sky.On Saturday I was tired, so I lazed around all day in my pyjamas.On Sunday I baked a cake for my neighbour, and I ate all of the chocolate chips!Do not forget capital letters, finger spaces and full stops.Maths:Post a letter- Listen to the number, then read the numbers on the door and deliver your mail.This game is based on recognising the numbers. E.G. one, two etc.PE/Active lesson: This week can you do your weekly mile at home? Can you run around your garden for 15 minutes and see how many laps you have done? Can you beat your score each day?Or other option:Go noodles: This website has some fun songs which children can follow. you can have a go at relaxing with some yoga. This week I would like you to look at the continent South America but focussing on the country Brazil.One of the celebrations which take place in Brazil is the Mardi Gras. This is a very important celebration. Watch the clip to help you see the wonderful parade. you make a mask like the Brazilian people use during their famous Mardi Gras celebrations? Lots of people join in parades wearing brightly coloured masks and costumes. Make the mask as bright and colourful as possible.
