In order to take the Tableau Boot Camp or Advanced Tableau Workshop, you will need to make sure the computer you are using meets the following requirements, and you are able to perform the below operations.

1. A recent version of Windows (7 or later) or macOS, with current system updates and at least 4 GB of RAM.

2. Tableau Desktop installed, version 2019.2.0 (current version) or similar. a. If your classroom computer does not already have Tableau installed, the installer can be downloaded from for a 14-day trial. b. To get the maximum use out of the 14-day trial, we recommend installing the software and starting the trial period one week before your class.

3. Excel 2010 or later installed (2013 or later recommended). 4. Lab files (pending).

a. Your instructor will provide customized lab files during class. You will need to be able to download Excel, Word and/or PDFs onto your local hard drive.
