Save our Catholic Daughters Court of St. Katherine based in Earling: After over 100 years it is in danger of having to disband. With members from all six parishes of Shelby County, the Earling Court has worked to build up the Church in these parishes. We offer Catholic women the opportunity to gather together to deepen their faith and to serve the needs of the poor and disadvantaged. We pray together, we work together, we have fun, and we believe we do make a difference. We have a membership of 60 Daughters who pay their dues. However due to age and disability, most of these ladies can no longer take an active role in our Court. We are in need of able-bodied talented women who are willing to meet monthly ten times a year. Our motto is “Unity and Charity”. We have much to offer. Please consider playing a part in keeping this Court alive and join Catholic Daughters. Come to our June meeting and/or contact one of the current officers: Regent Kimberly Graeve, Vice Regent Doris Erlbacher, Recording Secretary Maribeth Zimmerman, Financial Secretary Gail Gross, or Treasurer Maggie Bissen. Our next meeting is Thursday, June 21, 7 pm, Earling Parish Hall.

ORDINARY TIME is time that falls outside
the major holy seasons of the year: Easter,
Christmas, Advent and Lent. Ordinary Time is not just the absence of a major season any more than our lives are ordinary on days that are not holidays. Ordinary Time forms the foundation of the liturgical year; after all, it comprises almost two-thirds of the calendar. May we appreciate the length of Ordinary Time as we settle into the longest season of the year. Pastoral Patterns
