CERNER MILLENNIUM PCP Designation

CERNER MILLENNIUM

PCP Designation

In a residency setting, especially in Primary

Care, a patient¡¯s Primary Care Physician

(PCP) may change fairly often as residents

come & go. Here¡¯s how to set or edit the

PCP.

This has been prepared using Millennium base code level 2015.01.13 & mPage 6.0; various package updates &

aspects of mPage 6.3 have also been installed. Subsequent updates may display cosmetic & functional changes.

Use the keyboard or mouse to advance.

On many tabs, or mPages, you¡¯ll see a Follow Up

component, especially ambulatory workflow & inpatient

discharge mPages. Navigate to that, then click on the

current PCP. (Sometimes instead you may see a notice

that there is no PCP; if so, select that.)

Click Replace PCP.

Start to type the new PCP¡¯s last name, & results will appear.

You¡¯ll find both USA & community providers available.

Unfortunately, you¡¯ll

probably only see one

name at a time, since

each name is followed

by a long list of

addresses. Either add

a comma then type the

first name to narrow

the search, or click the

scroll bar.

Select the desired name.
