The bidder is expected to examine the Bidding Documents, including all instructions, forms, terms, specifications and charts/drawings. Failure to furnish all information required by the Bidding documents or submission of a Bid not substantially responsive to the Bidding Documents in every respect would result in the rejection of the Bid.

Lahore Zoo, situated at 90-Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, Lahore is one of the oldest Zoo of South Asia, intends to invite sealed Bids on Single Stage ?Single Envelop Bidding procedure from reputed firms / companies who are the original manufacturers,authorized distributors, and sole agents for items detailed below.Last date of submission of bids is 27.05.2017 and will be opened on same day as per following timings. Bid security is less than 5 % as per PPRA rules.

Bidders who are registered with (i) Punjab Revenue Authority (ii) Income Tax / General Sales Tax Department andnot black listed from any other government department are eligible to bid.

The Bidding document, containing detailed information, terms and conditions etc. can be obtained immediately after publication from the office of Director Lahore Zoo on cash payment (nonrefundable) of Rs: 500/-.

Bid Security as per above amount is required to be submitted along with the bid, in the form of Call Deposit / Pay Order/Demand Draft issued by a schedule bank in favor of Director Lahore Zoo.

Bids in a sealed single package clearly marked for Camera/ Photocopier, with a bid validity period not less than 90 days, from the date of opening of the bid, are required to be dropped in the tender box in the office of Director Lahore Zoo, Shahrah-e-Quaid-e-Azam, Lahore on or before the above mentioned date & time.

Bids will be opened for evaluation on same dayas given above, in the office of Director, Lahore Zoo, Lahore in the presence of the bidders or their representative who chooses to be present.

Lahore Zoo, Lahore reserves the right to accept or reject according to PPRA rules 2014. Bid notice is also available on Lahore Zoo website () & PPRA website (ppra..pk).

FOR THE SUPPLY OF CAMERA

1. Tender form can be obtained from the office of Director, Lahore Zoo on payment of Rs. 500/(non-refundable) from the date of publication of the advertisement as per directions contained in Tender Notice.

2. Tender should be dropped in the Tender box available in the office of Director, Lahore Zooas per schedule given in the Tender Notice and the bids will be opened on the same day at 01:30 Hoursbybid opening committee in the presence of bidders or their representatives, whoever to be present.

3. A bid security as per invitation of bidsin favour of Director, Lahore Zoo must accompany with tender in shape of Call Deposit / Pay Order / Demand Draft issued by any scheduled bank.

4. Bid validity of offer should not be less than 90 days from date of opening of bids. 5. Warrantyperiod must be mentioned clearly and it should not be less than 1 year. 6. The rates should be inclusive of all applicable taxes. 7. Any erasing/cutting, overwriting will only be acceptable alongwith initials of bidder or

clarification could be made at the time of opening in the presence of all bidders or their representative.Incomplete and ambiguous bids will not be considered. 8. Successful Tenderers will be required to execute an agreement with Zoo Administration on stamp paper amounting to Rs: 500 according to the prescribed Government Rules within seven (07) days after approval of the bid as per settled terms & conditions and have to furnish the performance guarantee equal to the 10% of the bid amount in the form of Bank Guarantee or call deposit/pay order etc. failing which the bid security will be forfeited. 9. Procurement order / Supply order will be issued to the successful tenderer after approval of the Competent Authority. 10. No escalation etc. will be admissible after the issuance of Supply order in any case. 11. The Performance Guarantee @ 10% of the total value of contract will be released after expiry of warranty /quarantine period and on the satisfactory / inspection / completion report of the concerned officer/committee of Lahore Zoo.

1. Scope

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS INTRODUCTION

a) The Purchaser wishes to receive Bid for the supply of DSLR Cameramentioned in Invitation to Bid at the earlier page (hereinafter referred to as Goods) and provide services such as training/ demonstration/ testing obligations specified hereinafter (hereinafter referred to as Services).

b) The bid is to be completed and submitted to the Purchaser in accordance with these Instructions to Bidders.

c) An item refers to the article mentioned in the Bid documents.

2. Eligible Bidder

The Bidders who have duly complied with the Eligibility Criteria will be eligible for consideration of financial bids. The Bids which do not conform to the Technical Specifications or Bid conditions or the Bids without adequate capabilities for supply ofrequisite goods will be rejected.

Supply of DSLR Camera

The Eligible Qualified Bidders will be considered for opening of financial bids.

The eligibility of the Firm shall be evaluated by the Tender opening committee in the light of following eligibility criteria.
