FROM THE STEERING COMMITTEE

Dear Members,

It's no secret that in the political, cultural and economic

chaos of the present moment every level of education is threatened by philosophical ideology and financial restraints. Despite this, Brandeis continues to strive to stay true to its mission and remains committed "to provide the deep, demanding, comprehensive, ethical and intellectual impulse that first brought it into being", and to find ways to help realize the promise of young students regardless of their ability to pay. We provide overall support to Brandeis University through our donations and participation in Chapter programs while enriching our own lives, and by designating money raised to special campaigns such the Scholarships Fund, Library Fund and Sustaining The Mind: Scientific Research and Science Scholarship Fund.

With this as our goal, it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the 2017-2018 Brandeis season with the Brandeis National Committee Boca Raton Chapter. By now you should have received our Study Guide and we hope you have had the opportunity to select the groups of interest to you. Additionally we have a huge amount of opportunities in the works for you to enjoy, a line ?up of Special Events including our highly successful Annual Book and Author Luncheon and three very interesting Breakfast With Brandeis Programs all available in this bulletin.

We hope you avail yourselves of everything we have to offer, and we look forward to seeing you throughout the season.

Thank you.
