You will be entitled to 25 days leave per annum, pro rata.Subject to availability, you will also be entitled to apply to work payment plus and for any other benefits or entitlements provided to permanent prison officers working at the same prison.Flexible Contractual TermsAs an alternative to a temporary full or part time contract, more flexible terms are offered on a three, six or nine month basis. The minimum number of contractual hours that need to be delivered during this period will be the equivalent of 7.4 hours (or one day) per month (the monthly period will commence from your date of contract). You will be required to agree the delivery of the first 7.4 hours each month (which are likely to include, in the first instance induction and re-training) but once these have been completed all additional hours worked will be on a mutually agreed basis between you and the prison.Rates of pay are as follows:Inner LondonOuter LondonNationalFirst 7.4 hours per month, paid as salary?117.59?111.07?98.64Green Hours: Monday – Friday 07-30 to 17-30 (includes Bank Holidays) – Hourly rate?13.58?12.83?11.39Red Hours: Weekdays after 17.30, nights and weekends – Hourly Rate?15.89?15.01?13.33Once the monthly contractual hours have been worked (i.e. 7.4), Payment Plus may be worked, if available, for bedwatch or other duties.
