This supplement implements AFI 36-2903 Dress and Personal Appearance of Air Force
Personnel_AFGM2019-01 and AFI36-2906_AMCSUP_AMCGM2018-01. The intent of this
supplement is to deliver guidance to Travis Air Force Base (AFB) personnel and applies to all
organizations. Military members who fail to adhere to the standards contained in this instruction
can be prosecuted under Article 92, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), or any other
article from the UCMJ, as appropriate. Refer recommended changes and questions about this
publication to the Office of Primary Responsibility using the AF Form 847, Recommendation for
Change of Publication; route AF Forms 847 from the field through the appropriate functional
chain of command. Ensure that all records created as a result of processes prescribed in this
publication are maintained in accordance with (IAW) Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 33-363,

5.3. (Added) Airmen are authorized to roll up sleeves on the OCP coat, following guidance in AFI 36-2903. The OCP coat may be removed in the immediate work area as determined appropriate by unit leadership; however, the OCP coat will be worn while interacting with customers/clients.
6.2.7. (Added) The Black Watch Cap is authorized for wear following the guidance in AFI 362903.
6.2.8. (Added) The Sage Green Watch Cap is authorized for wear following the guidance in AFI 36-2903.
6.4.3. (Added) Black combat boots are authorized for wear with the utility uniform, in work areas, as determined by unit leadership.
7.1.1. (Added) Travis AFB unit commanders may authorize Airmen to adjust Physical Training Uniform wear policy to address immediate safety or mission/operation concerns and may be more restrictive with wear policy to support unit cohesion and present a standardized image.

7.1.7.1. (Added) Wear of baseball/sport caps is authorized for wear following guidance in AFI 36-2903.
8.3.6. (Added) Morale patches and tabs are authorized on the shoulders of the Flight Duty Uniform (FDU) following guidance in AFI 36-2903. Morale patches and tabs are not authorized for wear while in Two Piece Flight Duty Uniform (2PFDU).
8.4.5. (Added) Morale nametags are authorized on Fridays or during special events following guidance in AFI 36-2903.
