Explore emotions and how to use open ended questions to understand a child's behavior and personal opinions. The workshop will also prepare teachers for CLASS and other assessments.

Children can learn how to control their bodies, when to sit and listen as well as move and how to do so appropriately with awareness of those around them.

Hearing Language Is Learning Maria Matos and Miosotti Trinidad Target Audience: I This workshop will cover infant/toddler language development that begins from the mother's womb until 24 months old. Attendees will learn the research behind a child's language acquisition, types of communications, best practices for early childhood practitioners and how to implement these practices in their daily routines.

A Lifetime of Survival: The Six Skills of Survival for Young Children Shayna Torres Target Audience: I, P During this presentation, participants will learn the survival skills that are critical to a young child's development. These skills include: attachment, belonging, self-regulation, collaboration, contribution and adaptability. Participants will be able to identify what these skills look like both developed and undeveloped along with intervention strategies to better support all children.

Behavior Management: Proactive, Moderate and Intensive Michelle Dean Target Audience: P Who needs support for behavior? What is behavior? How do we change behavior? Learn the answers and ways to address social and emotional needs of preschoolers.
