left8890001 November 2019Dear Parents & CarersWell it’s a happy Halloween atmosphere in school as we reach the end of October. This week Green group were out with our Holyrood Park Ranger and many of our pupils linked up with Drummond High School for the community litter pick. Group F went on Outdoor Education, and the weather stayed sunny for them which was a bonus, and Mrs Lockie took a team of badminton players to an inter-schools tournament. We have also had a group of young people developing their skills to become independent travellers and a few of our Seniors have been out on work placements. This is all part of their journey as they move towards adulthood.Have a great weekend and please remind our young people to bring their coats to school.Miss Chad----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------POPPIES FOR REMEMBRANCE-6359715500Next week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Social Studies classes will be selling remembrance poppies. We enjoyed some juice and popcorn before representatives from each school went up to the microphone to tell the audience all about their workshops. Reebie and Murshed spoke very well and told everyone about our graffiti poster. Thank you to Caitlin McKinnon from the Gallery for including us in this amazing project once again – we love it! Also, big thank you to Callum Innes (artist) for his generous box of free art materials.Mrs Ferguson----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------PARENT COUNCIL CHRISTMAS FAIR?????
